Mike Martin - Black Belt
Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Instructor and Owner

Mike Martin is a second degree black belt in American freestyle karate, a brown belt in Judo, and a Black Belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu under Joe Moreira . He has trained and studied martial arts for eleven years. Eight of those years he has had the honor and pleasure to train children and adults of all ages (some as young as 4 and some as old as 65!). His students receive hands-on, focused training and work with him personally during each class. He strives to ensure that each student has complete understanding of techniques and their application. He loves teaching martial arts because of the positive impact it has on his students’ lives.
Nick Slager - Black Belt
Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Instructor

Nick is a Black Belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu under Joe Moriera. He has a different game than Mike and is able to teach high level BJJ with a different angle. Nick is detail oriented when he teaches, this helps students who sometimes get stuck on a problem with thier game to help them figure out what they are doing wrong.
Mike Burlaka - Brown Belt
Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Instructor

Mike Burlaka is a brown belt in Brazilain Jiu-Jitsu. He is a No Gi Worlds medal winner and teaches the daytime jiu jitsu classes. Through Mike's extensive exprience in jiu jitsu he is able to help students find the small things that they might need to improve to advance their game.
Evan Gongora
Kids Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Instructor

Evan is a blue belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. Evan runs the kids program helping them develop discipline and respect. He has been competing in Jiu Jitsu competitions for years and is able to relay his great sportsmanship to his students.
Paula Dominguez
Tiny Tigers Instructor

Paula has been teaching the Tiny Tigers program for five years. She has "mat chats" with the kids to try to help them develop in a positive way. She covers bullying, concentrations, stranger awareness, teamwork, and many other import things for her kids. We feel these are important things for a kid to learn at a young age.
